The applied-for gTLD string ”TATAR” constitutes a unique combination of Latin symbols. The string consists of 5 symbols which allow avoiding problems associated with a potential conflict with two-letter ISO-codes used as country code TLD strings.
At present, the Applicant is unaware of any registered top level domains or filed applications which might create confusion for the applied-for string.
All the most current applications and software will definitely support the ASCII string.
The Applicant will continue to keep track of new research and expert reports as well as consult relevant expert opinions regarding any potential service-related or operational problems with the applied-for gTLD, if needed. Where necessary, the Applicant will be at pains, in close coordination with ICANN, to resolve any service-related or operational problems to minimize possible effects on Internet users and the Internet’s functioning in general.
